Dr Des Darrer

Dr Des Darrer has been a valued member of Rowville Health since early 1993 and continues to be a cornerstone of the clinic’s medical team. A passionate advocate for the education and training of future general practitioners, Dr Darrer is deeply involved in GP training and holds the role of Medical Educator. His dedication to teaching was recognised in 2005 when he received the inaugural VMA GP Supervisor of the Year award.

Outside of medicine, Des enjoys spending time with his wife, Grainne, and their two spirited daughters, Miranda and Mairead. He’s an active outdoorsman who loves surfing and cycling in his spare time.

Billing Policy: Dr Darrer does not offer bulk billing appointments for pensioners or Health Care Card holders.
